Russian women are filming themselves slicing up Chanel baggage just after the luxurious model stopped offering items in their state.

Products and influencers have accused Chanel of “Russophobia” for pulling out of selling them luxury objects.

Chanel has also requested Russians to indication pledges when they store abroad to not don or exhibit their Chanel things when again in Russia – in reaction to the country’s invasion of Ukraine.

Television set presenter Marina Ermoshkina, 28, expressed outrage to her 299,999 Instagram followers about the French brand’s choice, noted the Every day Mail.

‘Not a one item or model is worth my love for my motherland and my self-respect,” she reported.

Various other influencers joined in on the craze, by posting movies beneath the hashtag #ByeByeChanel

Travel blogger Sharli Prokopif stated on her Instagram: “I am Russian, dwelling in Europe – and I refuse to put on Chanel.”

The sanctions imposed on Russia prohibit the sale of luxurious merchandise for those who intend to use them in the country, Chanel instructed the BBC.

“Chanel complies with all rules applicable to our functions and staff members around the world, including trade sanction guidelines”.
